Well Its was a bit chilly on the coast yesterday. I decided to go to Mossyard which is a beautiful beach just off the A75, I step out the car and the cold hit me like a hammer. This is one of those time when I wish people could see what I go through to get my shots. Its not all blue skys and sunshine Its about mood and bad weather makes a great mood. I get to the place only to realise I missed what I was after (boo-hoo!) so I tried a few other shots and It shows that even after all this time I get it wrong some times. Any way I left with a few Ideas and cold hands so not too bad. To see some pics of my day got to my facebook page M.J.A Photography Im dressed as a rabbit.
Well it's been a manic start to the year. The biggest challenge so far has been the crazy weather the country has been experiencing, Dumfries & Galloway can be a wild place in the summer but when the winter winds came it put on a spectacular show.
Whilst I have been out I have seen it raining sea water in Portpatrick, hail stone in the hills and 30ft waves batter our beautiful coastline. In-between all this I have manged to dodge the worst of it and get a few shots. Its not been all bad we have had some beautiful sunsets and brilliant frosty mornings. I will keep going whatever the weather throws at me and I'm always looking for the next picture, by the way if anyone knows of a wooden pier or jetty in the area please let me know (it will stop me asking everyone I know).
Thanks for reading this have a great new year and like me on facebook where I will put some pictures on of the weather and places I see as I go around doing what I love to do.
